  • Texas leads the nation in uninsured children. How can we change that?

Outreach helps, but here are four ways the state could help enormously:
    1. Eliminate the asset test.
    2. Increase eligibility for children’s Medicaid from 6 months to 12 months.
    3. Allow CHIP buy-in for families above 200% of the federal poverty level.
    4. Implementing the “express lane” process that many other states use for enrollment and renewals.

Join us in Austin on March 30 to advocate for COVER TEXAS NOW. We'll have buses leaving from DFW. Register at www.covertexasnow.org
